Starting Out at CAT
CAT teachers say that they value being part of a group of academies with similar values, priorities and systems. CAT Early Career Teacher programme, in partnership with Best Practice Network and Cheshire Teaching Hub, allows teachers in their first two years from across the Trust to meet and continue learning together.

Support as your career develops
As our careers progress, we thrive by continuing to learn. Develop your subject or specialist knowledge and start to influence teachers beyond your own classroom.
Be inspired by successful leaders, find out what is needed to take your next career step and get support from a CAT mentor on one of our leadership programmes. Here new and aspiring leaders share challenges, reflect on experiences and solve problems with their peers. Be part of CAT’s ‘Next Gen’ leaders development programme, NPQML, NPQSL, NPQH or NPQEL run through Cheshire Teaching hub and Best Practice Network.

Improving Learning Outcomes Beyond Your School
Our expanding multi-academy trust brings opportunities to improve life chances for children beyond home academy. Middle and senior leaders will have the opportunity to lead research and development units, mentor and coach other leaders, become a mastery teacher through one of our partner hubs or lead residencies in other schools that the Trust might sponsor or help.
