Cheshire Academies Trust Board of Directors is seeking to appoint a talented individual to their central team to undertake the role of Clerk to the Board. The successful candidate will be responsible for clerking meetings of the Board, their committees and three of our Local Governing Boards. We are looking for a candidate with high levels of organisational and communication skills to be able to engage with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders via a variety of mediums. Applicants should be enthusiastic, effective, organised, highly motivated and able to demonstrate current knowledge of governance structures in educational settings. Experience of working in a similar role is desirable. Training will be offered to the right candidate. Applicants will need to manage their time flexibly as this role will require working across a number of Cheshire Academies Trust sites and attendance at evening meetings. There is the opportunity to be home-based for part of the working week if this is desirable.
